The very cool Buffalo punk duo medium.chaos just dropped a new single today titled ‘Daddy’s in Jail.’ Check it out HERE. The band will also be dropping its first LP in the very near future so be on the lookout for that. In the meantime, you can follow medium.chaos on their Bandcamp page HERE. And listen to all their songs HERE. Do not sleep on this band!

Speaking of new albums, James Froese — who performs solo as Hello London — has dropped his latest album, titled ‘The Changing Tide.’ This a really strong work from this prolific and creative artist, from the first song straight through to the final track. We’ll be bringing you more on this LP in the near future. We’ve had the record on heavy rotation over the past week and highly recommend you give it a listen.

Buffalo punk band The Spit Sisters will be dropping their debut EP on Saturday Sept. 7. We’re pretty hyped to spin this record. The band will be marking the occasion with a record-release show on Saturday at Nietzsches with Sleep Debt Ceiling and Racehearse also on the bill. Info on the show can be found HERE.

Head over to Triple Hammer Records and buy the new 7-inch by first-wave Buffalo hardcore band G.O.A. HERE. The four-song release was recorded with legendary engineer/producer Don Fury, who played an important role in shaping the sound of American hardcore, working with bands such as Agnostic Front, Gorilla Biscuits and Sick of It All. G.O.A is an important band, ensuring the origins of hardcore’s early sound remains represented on the Buffalo scene. Stay tuned as well for more on this 7-inch later this week in 1120 Press.

Just in time for start of the fall semester, those irrepressible lads from Pretty Good State University are set to drop their first full-length album next week. The LP release comes on the heels of their latest single “Who Needs a Liver When You’ve Got a Blue Suit.” If you’ve not seen PGSU play live please do. They leave it all out there and their shows are a blast. The band will also be hosting an album release show at Mohawk Place Spet. 13 with Little Liar, Prairie Pavement and Hitgrl. Info can be found HERE.

The latest single from the relentlessly hardworking Buffalo solo artist akloh. will be dropping Sept. 26. Titled ‘Stranded (road to Shalala),’ the new song is the fourth of nine new songs from akloh., and follows the release of last month’s three-song EP ‘Anthology Part One: The World’s Most Dangerous Man.’ You can pre-save akloh.’s forthcoming single HERE.
