The vinyl is being released by Toronto’s Wormwood Records. Side A will include the EP, and Side B will feature the band’s demo which was released in October 2023. If you’ve not yet checked out the Demo EP by Buffalo’s Sleep Debt Ceiling, do yourself a favor and get on it HERE. The record includes four well-crafted and at times unsettling folk punk tracks which probe a landscape of depression, drugs, trauma and loss of identity — but at the same time, done with an element of sharp black humor. 1120 Press will soon be taking a closer look at this EP, which seemingly dropped from the sky. Thankfully it did because it’s really good.
Pretty Good State University will be dropping a new single on Friday (Aug. 23) titled, ‘Who Needs a Liver When You’ve Got a Blue Suit?’ — a question that has plagued mankind since the beginning of time. The new song is a follow up to the single released by the band last month called ‘Anteater.’ (Listen HERE.) Watch for the band’s new song drop on Friday, and while you’re at it, consider enrolling in Pretty Good State University for the fall semester. Doing so is the first step toward a pretty good future.
